Big Boys

Over the past few weeks, both boys have been trying and doing new things. Thatcher has been working on finger feeding, and although he is good at getting the food in his mouth, he is still very unsure about those new textures. Thatcher is also crawling and doing it very fast (especially to get Brenton's toys:-) Brenton has been working on dressing and drinking out of a big boy cup. It is amazing how quickly these little guys are growing and changing.

School Days Already?

While most of you have several more weeks of summer, our summer is quickly coming to a close as Michael is going back to work this Thursday for a meeting, then starting for good the next Monday. We are sad to see the summer days go away!

Thatcher's First (and Second) Tooth

While visiting the Thurman's in Atlanta last week, we discovered that Thatcher had cut his first tooth (finally). He has had some really grouchy days since then and yesterday we discovered the second tooth is also coming in. As you can see from the picture, Thatcher has been drooling a lot and we have discovered that he loves to chew on a wet washcloth to help ease the pain.

Camping-Bradburn Style

We just got back today from a 3 day camping trip in Townsend. Although we are exhausted, we had a great time with Granny and Papaw. Brenton (of course) loved being outside and getting dirty and Thatcher was great and enjoyed playing in his Pack and Play (although his missed having his "crawl" time). The highlight of the trip for both boys was playing in the river and swimming pool, even though it was cold in both places.

Fourth of July in Atlanta

This year for the Fourth of July, we went to Atlanta to see Uncle Roo, Aunt Jill-E, and McKinley (or "Baby K" as Brenton calls her). We had a great time swimming, going to the Georgia Aquarium, and seeing how Baby K is growing! Thanks Uncle Roo and Aunt Jill-E for letting us come!

3 Toddlers and a Bathtub

Last week, Michael's cousin, Trish and her twins Luke and Lily came over for a play date. While Trish and Michael were busy with a haircut, Brenton, Luke, and Lily climbed into the bathtub and turned on the water-with all of their clothes on.
