One Fall, Two Staples

Last weekend while shopping, Thatcher fell, hitting his head. The result: a trip to the emergency room (his first) and 2 staples. We are afraid that this is only the beginning!

Gotta Love a Monkey

Thatcher loves monkeys! He had two monkeys that he named (and really I mean he told us their names when we ask him) Ooh Ooh and Aah Aah. He loves them and has to have them in bed every night!

"My School, Your School"

Brenton's first day of "school" was yesterday and according to him, "It was sun(fun)!" Although we couldn't get much out of him about what he had done, he was not ready to leave when 2:00 came. The only problem is helping Brenton learn the name of the school. The name of the school is "My School," which Brenton finds confusing, so last night he told us the name of the school is "My School, Your School." We can't believe that he is so big and we are excited about what this year holds for him!

A Tribute to a Thumb

While Brenton still has his thumb, he has officially stopped sucking it! While this is bittersweet for me and Michael, we are proud of him for being such a big boy! Here is a little tribute to where this thumb has taken us over the last 3 years!

Nashville Weekend

Last weekend, we traveled to Nashville to go to the wedding of Michael's intern from last year, Ligon. While we were there, we enjoyed some fun times together for our last weekend of the summer! We visited the Discovery Center at Murfree Springs and also The Pfunky Griddle, where we made some yummy pancakes!
