Thatcher's First Haircut

Tonight Thatcher had his first haircut and well, the curls are mostly gone and (sigh)...we aren't sure how we feel. We do know that he is still super cute!

Uncle Roo's Cowboy Boots

Brenton is all about cowboys right now and we found Uncle Roo's old cowboy boots at Nona and Popa's the other night. Brenton (of course) loved them and wore them all night!

Big Boy Cars eat

After several loooooong crying spells in the car, we decided it was time for a big boy car seat for Thatcher. He thought he was big stuff!

The Boys and McKinley Grace

Uncle Roo, Aunt Jill-E, and McKinley (AKA-Baby K) came in for my birthday, which also happened to be McKinley's 1/2 birthday. As always, when we get together we take pictures of all 3 kids. Here are a few from the very many that Michael took. And, oh, Brenton's "cheese" face!

I Love This Face!

Thatcher LOVES the camera and will always pose when he sees it! Here is a recent supermodel documentary hour with Michael. They were just too cute not to share!

New Rides

All summer, we have been waiting for Brenton to grow about a 1/4 of an inch so that he could ride more rides at Dollywood. Last Friday, he had finally made it and really enjoyed the day as he got to try several new things. He, of course, loved them all!

This Boy's Got Moves

I don't know who taught him to dance, but he loves it!

It's Potty Time!

Last week, Brenton actually "peed" in the potty for the first time. He has been showing some interest lately, but couldn't actually get it all together. He finally did! Although we aren't pushing the issue right now (because we are going to the beach in a few weeks), he occasionally uses the potty successfully!

Thatcher's Growing

Thatcher is doing lots of new things. He is crawling EVERYWHERE and pulling up. He cut his top, front teeth yesterday (finally) and is just the happiest baby! We can't imagine our lives without him!

No Words, Just Pictures

I don't really have anything to say, except my husband grabbed a camera instead of fussing!

Mine Do It

Brenton is in the "I can do it" stage and tells us often, "mine do it." One day a few weeks ago, I ask him to get his shoes so we could go outside and when I walked in the kitchen this is what I found. He tried (and with some success) put his own shoes on. He is getting so big!

Jump, Brenton, Jump

A few weeks ago, we had a Sunday School swim party and Brenton, the ever brave boy, jumped off of the diving board, a lot! He loved it and of course was NOT scared one bit.
