Little People

One of Brenton's favorite toys is Little People. We have Little People cars, plane, a race track, an airport, a farm, Noah's Ark, and a nativity. He really loves the nativity and has ask for us to get it out often! When I was cleaning up during Brenton's nap today, I noticed that he had lined his Little People (from the nativity) up on the window seal and they were all "looking" out the window. Doesn't it make you wonder what he was thinking when he did it?

Mr. Independent

We are officially in the "I want to do it" stage with Brenton. Although it can be difficult, challenging and even frustrating at times, we want him to be independent, so we deal with it! Every time we get out a camera, Brenton wants to see his picture. Here is one he should enjoy in years to come!

Curls

After Thatcher has a bath, his hair is really curly! It is funny and he looks really cute.

Holding Thatcher

Brenton really wanted to hold Thatcher and when he finally got a hold of him, he sat so still and held him for a long time! We were surprised because Brenton doesn't do many things for very long. Brenton sang to him and it was too sweet!

I Love Chocolate!

Chocolate is one of my favorite food groups! Brenton has unfortunately followed in my footsteps. Here he is licking pudding from a spatula!

Another Cute Baby

When Brenton was a little baby, I didn't think that there could possibly be another baby who has ever been or would ever be as cute as he was. I was wrong! Thatcher is just as cute, although he now looks nothing like Brenton. With his blue eyes and heart-melting smile, I can't imagine how we could have had such an (another) adorable baby!

Thatcher had his 2 month (although he was 11 weeks old) doctor visit. He weighed 12lbs. 6oz. and was 23 inches long. Although we think that he looks bigger than Brenton at this age, Brenton was 12 lbs. 12 oz at 9 weeks! Thatcher was in the 50 percentile for weight and 25 for his length. He had 2 shots and it hurt his feelings pretty bad! Otherwise, the doctor said he looked great! We are very grateful for 2 healthy boys.

Snow Day!!!

It snowed today and we were so excited! Something about snow make you feel good! Michael got out of school early and was home when Brenton got up from his nap. They promptly got warm clothes on and went outside. Brenton helped build a snowman, made a snow angel, and enjoyed throwing some snowballs (of course). After lots of fun outside, they came in for some hot chocolate (Brenton's first). They had a great time in the snow and we say "Let it snow!"

Big Brother, Little Brother

Just wanted to share a few pictures of Brenton and Thatcher with their cute shirts on!

Another Thumb Sucker?

We potentially have another thumb sucker in our family. Thatcher has been taking a pacifier, but the last few days, he has been trying to get this thumb. I tried to snap a picture, but did not catch his successful attempt to get his thumb in his mouth.

Mommy's Little Chef

Last week, Brenton and I made edible play dough. He loves to help "dump" and mix. I think his favorite part was licking the spoon.
